Insurgent Voices: A Scholarship Concert to Promote Asian American Arts
The VariAsians, an Asian American a cappella group, is hosting a concert to raise funds for
their newly established Asian American Arts Scholarship. This Scholarship was established by the group to
support and promote Asian American artists interested in pursuing the performing arts.
14 soloists & groups will perform, including: Variasians, All About Buford,
Forget the Girl, The Francis Kim Band, Karuna, Melissa Li, Midnight Angel Productions,
MIT Logarhythms, Manisha Shahane,
Kevin So, Soundstage 7, Tufts Amalgamates, Tufts Beelzebubs, and Yuichiro Tokuda Jazz Quintet.
The evening also includes a fashion show presented by Nancy Ko/Michelle Mak. Peformer lineup
& bios at
Variasians.
At Somerville Arts Theatre, across from the Davis Square T Station. 6:30-11:30 p.m.

with student ID $18; group tickets are $15.
